I love there little lunch pails and this one is a gorgeous electric blue ombre - really striking. Inside the blue is darker and the white mottling gives a 'night sky' effect. These boxes were used by construction workers or farmers to carry lunch and were known as 'gamelle de chantier' There is some possible discolouration (difficult to tell if it's intentional or not) and light rust inside in the base and some small chippy spots around the base externally. The lid is also quite chipped and has some fading. The clips and handle have light tarnish. Having said that it is a very lovely little box and would make super storage for trinkets, stationery etc. Approx 11.5cms / 4.5" high ( not including handle) and 14cms / 5.5" wide
