This is a fabulous and very hard to find, complete set of six vintage French enamel canisters, in a deep chestnut reddish brown. The set comprises Sucre, Farine, Cafe, Pates, Chicoree and Poivre - all with lids. In vintage chippy condition, particularly on the tops of the handles and rims. There are a few larger chips on the base of a couple of canisters, and some rust patches inside - but all canisters are sound and in very good condition for their age and very lovely. They make a gorgeous display in a rustic or country setting.
The largest canister is approx 19cms / 7.5" high and the smallest approx 13cms / 5.25".
