This is a gorgeous and usable vintage enamel match box. It has a hinged lid and the word 'Allumettes' appears to be hand lettered on the front. It has plenty of characterful chips and signs of its long life.
Sourced in France I believe it was original manufactured in Belgium by the company Eoile P.E.N. - Saint Servais. It still bears a partial label to the back and is stamped with the company name on the base.
